First Time Monoxide in House.

It is probably the weather. My base heater loves the cold but can get balky if it is fairly warm out. I have to switch to a much smaller stove if the weather is in the 40's. I just can't get the needed draft at those temps. On the other hand, when it is cold the base heater just couldn't be better. My son has a similar problem with his stove and is installing a small Franklin for the bumper season.

Note the wind direction and any sloping landscape around your home. My CO detectors will go off when a S-SE wind direction happens. My home is downslope to that wind direction and rarely occurs late winter early spring.
It's probably a good idea to change the batteries when ever the detector goes off to make sure you have a fully ready system.
