We have had this issue in my state as well.http://ctcarry.com/FAQ/Index/Pistol%20P ... plications
Go down and click on:
Do the towns and cities throughout the state have any local requirements for permit applicants?
And it will lead you to a link of a declaritory ruling that notes that extra things are forbidden. But towns ignore it.
Its likely the same in you state --- they know that they cannot but do so anyway.
I'm not in favor of a CT bill, Bill #5409, that means to address this issues and others:https://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/cgabillstatu ... l_num=5409
Dont get caught up in this trap. All laws related to guns are void .. asking for the legislature to write a bill to correct something is acknowledging that they can regulate your RKBA.
So how to address this issue? Simple. You tell your legislature to repeal their gun laws and that until that time, you will refuse to convict anyone of any crime (ANY crime) until the state recognizes your RKBA via repealing all gun laws.
Anything less is playing with yourself IMO.
