I need to be near to my grand children. So a little cabin in the woods would be good for an occasional stay. The little house I am looking at all seem to be built on full brick basement with little windows. The realtors do not mention that but it seems to be the older building style. So is this a full height basement or a crawl space? An example follows ...

Another listing for it describes it as having a crawl space, and as having been built in 2002. It appears to possibly be a double-wide mobil home or a pre-fab home that was given a nice looking brick finish to the underside crawl space area. Price seems attractive, but then this is area dependent, and I don't know the area.

It's a double-wide as noted. That's not necessarily a bad thing just something to be aware of.

Crawlspace looks nicely vented with all those port holes...that should slow down the termites and fire ants a bit.
