Welcome to the coffee house. A place of peace & strength. After this week we can lean on the strength button.

The coffee is hot. Come in, enjoy a cup & share a moment in time. I'm thinking blueberry pancakes & bacon will be a tasty breakfast.
Real home made maple syrup? Yup, there's some left.

Today.... mow the lawn & play in the garden. Everything in the garden is poking up through the soil except for the carrots. Do they just grow down? ;)

Lowfog..... did your new bikes come in? Ought to be a good adventure or two in your future. Have fun!

Enjoy the weekend my friends.

Either I don't need to go into work today, or you are a day early. :) coffee is great either way.

HA! I'm 25 hours early! I have an excuse if you want to listen. :)

I had two jobs come in this week both of which were willing to pay extra if they got done before the weekend. On Wednesday I worked in the shop until almost 11PM, then a long day yesterday got them done. Well.... if they are done, today must be Saturday! I was well convinced of that until I went to the mailbox & got today's paper. I said to myself "Why is it so thin?"

I think I see what's going on here.

Last coffee Freddy said it would be 2 weeks until Linda returns.

So if he shortens the weeks, she will get back north that much sooner !!!!!!

Been busy here at the shop lately. Finally got the 69 Mach 1 finished and out the door. Now finishing up a 68 Coupe. That will be out of here in another day or 2. Then finally I may be able to get my boat in here so I can actually work on something for my self.

Tomorrow, the real Saturday, will be spent watching the 1 grandson play Lacrosse and finishing the day watching the other play baseball under the lights.

Have a great weekend everyone. Apparently we get a 3 day er..................................... :nana:

I have a very good feeling that this weekend will involve lots of water recreation and relaxation as the temps near 90( not my kind of weather but I can deal with it as I'm not doing any work in it 8-) )
That is a nice looking car there Rick!

Have a happy Fathers Day and enjoy your stay :)

Not at all a nice thing to do to an old retired guy, while you started me off at the coffee house a day early my daughter & grandson came for Fathers Day two days early. To high side is everyday with a wake-up is good & a FCH day makes it even better! Hope all are safe & sound & have a good week-end. :)

Got back from vacation last night about 9 or so. It was a good two weeks. We went to Mississippi to see family and to use an old one....it was so hot the birds were using pot holders to get the worms. Rim shot please.....

It hit 95+ there every day we were there and it's good to be back in NE Pa. where it's currently 69 and expecting a high of 75. Where we were at in Ms. it is expected to hit 100 again today.

Before we left I planted our garden with beans, cucumbers and potato. I took our old wooden swing set and planted some blue lake beans under it. I hung a piece of fence off the hooks for the swings for them to climb on. I put chicken wire all the way around it to deter the little 4 footed friends.

Something flattened the chicken wire in one spot and ate almost all the leaves off the bean plants. I know it wasn't bunnies or chipmunks or a ground hog because the leaves 4 foot up are gone also unless the bunnies moved here from a nuclear plant. Also the dead giveaway were the hoof prints by the fence where it was smashed down. I haven't checked the cucumber plants yet. I'm almost afraid to.

One thing I noticed. Nothing touched the potato plants, only the bean plant leaves. Hmmmmm

What a great fathers day! Beef ribs on the smoker, cold beer in the fridge, new flag on the porch, and the lawn looks perfect. Have a great weekend everyone.
