Being that I'm on the road most of the day, I listen to a few different podcasts. One of them is "The Way I Heard It" by Mike Rowe (the Dirty Jobs guy).

He describes it as a modern version of Paul Harvey's "Rest of the Story".

Anyway, here is the most recent which might have some interest amongst this particular group.

I started to listen due to the potential for a new Paul Harvey. Got only a minute or two into it and turned it off in disgust. No Paul Harvey redivivus to be found.

Much rather listen to some easy listening music! To be fair I couldn't stand to listen to the entire thing but he should get a bag holder like I have that attaches to the leash & is always there! ;)

The real story doesn't start till near 6 minutes in.
And I had it figured right as to what it was used for after coal soot remover. ;)

Mike Rowe has said his podcast is for people with "curious minds and short attention spans ".

At least one person fit the description. :)

I used to wonder why my grandmother knew how to whip the stuff up with common kitchen ingredients. I'm sure she probably clean more than a few soot stains in her day!
