This collection belonged to Bruce Stearn, a Trumbull CT lawyer who took his life last year under very strange circumstances. I met him at his office one time when my brother picked up a Russian SVT from him, they had a few dealings I believe. He was collecting guns from about the age of 8 and sought only the best of the best. Check out his collection.
There are enough BARs there to start your own army.

Over $12 million in guns, a lot of them going for more than expected ($322,000 for a lever action Winchester!). My brother and his buddy went to the first one a little while ago. There will be another later this year. The collection is so large, they are using two auction houses to sell off the stuff. The auction catalogs must have cost $50 a piece, unbelievable photos and descriptions.
