If she's pardoned, that'll once again send a message that the laws don't apply to the "special" people in power.
That's a policy that has gone on too long. Contrary to what past presidents have said when they did such pardons - that prosecuting the ones being pardoned would be bad for the country and cause divisions. But it doesn't divide the country to bring those who break the law to justice. If anything, it shows that there is a divide - those in power and those who aren't.
And, that's why criminal behavior like this keeps happening with people in power like Hitlery. They know they will get away with it, or at most, they'll lenient treatment, so they ignore the laws.
