It is 80 here today. Have to wait a little while longer. Were ready, just have to have mother nature cooperate. It will be here soon enough.

We have been running our stove for over two weeks now in the Blue Mountains. Got cold up in the hills where we are at, town is still around 5-8 degrees warmer than us. Glad she's running good for you, stay warm my friend

Yup, same here the last two years. We're late this year - only having started the stove two weeks.

Kinda nice sleeping with the bed room door to the sleeping porch open, yet able to come down stairs in the morning to a nice warm kitchen and a hot tea kettle waiting. Sure makes the onset of colder weather more enjoyable. ;)

Hey Paul, you're not making it any easier on us, that still have summer weather kicking us around.
But I'm glad your enjoying your "antique investments".

Once the kids grew up, moved out, and there's no more enjoying watching and helping the fun they had playing in the snow, Winters just became a pain. All the neat stuff we get to do with the stove makes it fun again. ;)

31 here yesterday morning so I lit up the rocks. Burning wood for a week was fun and I cleaned up a lot of scrap and cooked some nice meals. Now I have to buy coal!

I hear ya Corey. I was "this close" to starting mine yesterday, due to the extra amount of snow, and cold. But then I checked the forecast, and it'll be warm here for about the next week anyway. So I'll be holding out a bit longer too.
Lobsterdude, what are you getting for coal this year. What's available on the Cape?

Looks like we're heading for at least a week of warmer weather here.

Same here they said we could approach the record of 79 few days.
