Here ya go, it's got the elongated slot on the piece that clamps on to the gear reducer.

My bad install was done by previous owner...
Lots of home depot stuff in the house...
They took lowest priced contractors too it seems...
Indirect sits on basement floor...
which gets very wet from the rain...
That comes in from the poorly graded yard drive and walk...
So the bottom has begun to rot...
No priority, just another zone, 3/4" pipe...
Cold start oil burner...
The old one will get cut out and a larger one cut in with proper piping and blocking...
Good news is floor pitches out the bulkhead door to gravel...
The house was prettied up to sell, and it did...
The bones are good but it got unintentional abuse over the years...
My job is to fix all the errors it accumulated...
Everything is low flow, temp set 145*...
But with 'The Triplets' at 3 & 4 years...
We go thru lots of heated water...
No Replacement for Displacement... ;)

Running the water temperature at 145 to the fixtures is risky business, especially with children. I had a very close call with my youngest son, and was VERY glad the water temperature was not over 120 degrees.

Your cold start setup is not helping things either. If there is no control to prevent the indirect zone from turning on with the boiler still cold, the water heater heats the boiler instead of the other way around.

Mixing to baths...
Previous owner turned the indirect down to save money while selling...
As in all the way off...
The only way to cure the nasty bacterial growth was to keep it hot...
Hydrogen Peroxide did not work...
I think the bugs got too far into the anodes...
Smelly water gone after a month... ;)

That is what I was doing also. Got struggling with one kid on the tub and the other came in behind me "to help" and shut off the cold water. Bottom line, put a mixing valve on your new indirect and set it at 120.

Yes, that is another benefit of running a mixing valve. Keep the tank hot and pipe untempered water to those appliances.
