This was after shake down and load about 7. Now it's black with just red coals showing and holding at 220 since we have a heat wave coming. Let's see if we can get 24 hours out of her

We have had some requests for Lehigh Shirts. We now have long sleeve t-shirts available with embroidered logo for $20 each plus shipping, if interested let me know...

Matt,

The shirts look great but we would rather have to opportunity to buy Lehigh coal.
I don't see any Dealers that sell your coal in MA or RI is this gonna be on your radar for 2017?
There are many coal burners in these States that would be happy to purchase Lehigh.

24 hour burns are easy squeezey with that furnace. The keys to being successful are first make sure you do a thorough shake down - poke and prod the fuel bed to loosen ash, nudge it towards the grate and shake again. Then load to the top of the fire bricks and mound up higher in the center. Let it do a good recovery with the ash door open. Then Adjust the primary air to hold the furnace 'over the load door temp' at or below 220 degrees.

At 24 hours, rev the fire good before shake down. I strictly run 24 hour burns when outside temps are at or above 30 degrees.

Hi Lee good to hear from you

Yes I've been taking your advice for a couple years now. I've been getting 24 and a couple times I've gotten 32 when I was burning kimmels :D. This stove gets a bad name, but with a little modifying this stove is good. However, shaking down can be a chore.

I got a new Lehigh coal and was wondering if it would go 24+. This coal is pretty awesome, but it does burn differently. If you get the chance to get some grab it up

I have a bulk delivery guy that brings it to me for $235 per ton, I get 6 tons at a time. He's from Smethport PA. He runs his own coal delivery business.

23 hours and still had some blue flames and a lot of red coals. Opened the ash door shook down loaded it up and 10 minutes it was burning again. Definitely a red ash, but no clinkers and the majority of it turns into a fine dusty material
