Good luck - anytime I tried starting my Hitzer before Halloween it ended up roasting us at least half of the time.

Fuel oil is still painfully cheap right now while not as comfortable as coal a smaller challenge as my slow burning skills have not really gotten any better in the last couple of years. If it is above 50 to 55 during the day I always end up wasting coal with windows open or fire goes out. Others say they can do it but I must just lack the talent.
