It must be fall - we got invited for a turkey dinner tonight. The thermometer tells a different story though, it is 60 degrees and very calm outside.
I did something today that has been on my list for 5 years. I got the rolls of R30 insulation out of storage in the shop and actually put them in my attic. I also had a "bale" of shredded cellulose insulation that I used to fill the stud cavities where the previous insulation had settled. I found one stud cavity on my bathroom wall that was empty for the top 3 feet. No wonder I sometimes see condensation on that part of the wall when it is cold outside. :roll That stuff isn't much fun to work with, very dusty. I wore a half-face respirator, and I am sure glad I did. Hard to say if I will see any benefits from the extra insulation since it only impacted a portion of my attic, but it will do more good up there than sitting in roll out in the shop.
