Okay to transport a LL Pocono on its side

Okay to transport a LL Pocono on its side

PostBy: jimg On: Fri Oct 21, 2016 8:52 am

I am considering the purchase of an older (at least 6 years old) Pocono. Would it be okay to transport that laying on its side, or is that asking for trouble? I have a trailer, but this is a bit of a drive so I would prefer to go without the trailer. Loading it in the back of a Jeep would be the other option.

Thanks, Jim

I don't see why it would be a problem, I don't think they have any fire brick. Just make sure nothing is pinching funny, there is a lot of expensive gadgets hanging off the back of those stoker stoves!

Jim

Prior to doing so why not fire off an email to the source at Leisure Line and see what they say on the subject. Might save you one big headache if transporting on its side is a no no. Dave is a great guy and will be happy to answer your question(s).

You can reach Dave at Leisure Line via email at [email protected] or give him or Matt a call at (570) 752-1811
Of course you can also send Dave a PM via this site as well. :D

Thanks for the replies, the person selling this while he responded initially, never got back to me when I tired to set up a time to pick this up. The craigslist posting was taken down so I missed out on this.
