I'm Considering This Hitzer 82F

Nope. might need to poke at it every few days if some ash builds up, but I don't remember it being a problem.
My brother has the 82 that came out of my dad's house (when dad went to an EFM). They heated the entire house with the 82 while the second story was still being finished and insulated.

unless they changed them dramatically, the flue is on the long right side as you are looking at the loading doors.

I think you figured out to pass on the first one, unless it becomes dirt cheap (its been abused and over fired badly). The 82 is a good stove, I've been using mine for many years and it is excellent. 7 in flu on the right side, and has the thermostat control, each grate is controlled individually. I built my own heat collector around it and duct work myself, but the hitzer sheet metal is excellent from what I hear. I don't know what current pricing but hitzer products are well made.
