They sure make it simple. It looks just like their zone valve unit, only for that unit you wire the bottom row of terminals to zone valves and a single circulator.

Beautiful install!

I just noticed the flanges with the valve built in, I used separate ball valves, I have one flange with a shutoff, but you need a screwdriver to turn it.

What is your plan for cold weather when higher boiler temperatures are needed? Just bump up the low limit and keep the boiler hot all the time?

I was thinking that running a thermostat wire from the end switch to the TT terminals with a toggle switch would be a good compromise. I did something similar to switch the heat call signal from the EFM to the oil boiler.

Nice install, I did not rotate my circulators like you did and mine need to be removed to fuss with wiring. I like the purge stations at each zone valve, mine are located in line upstream of my pumps.

That's a good idea Rob. I'm running the low at 170 now, in the summer I drop it to 160. With a switch I'll be able to easily change the operation if needed.

This morning I raised the thermostats in both zones and the forced-air system started as soon as the blower switch above the heat exchanger warmed up. Before, with that zone connected to the aquastat there was a delay until it started the circulator, sometimes it was 20 minutes!

I have a couple of the 504's, too. Nice little units.

They daisy chain nicely and you can set a priority on a zone for DHW. At least mine does. They have had some revisions and submodels I've seen.

The unit I have has zone 4 as the priority, has an on/off selector switch on the board.

So far it's working out very well.
