Need Help on Identifying a Nestor Oak.

My question is, what is the purpose of that box? Is it concealing a pipe that runs against the wall, and heading "upwards,", into the second floor, or does the pipe head outside on the 1st floor? I'ld hate to think the chimney pipe is running against the interior wall, W/O any clearance. Do you have any photos of the chimney on the outside?

It's the chimney it's self the pipe inserts about 4 inches in. I'll post a lot of pictures

Jerryrayjr, Every picture you've shown of the stove, it is missing the round plate that covers the hole on top, do you have that cover plate?

No I need both of them. But until I can find them, I made some out of sheet metal.

Okie dokie. I'm not sure if you used galvanized or not, but be aware that galvanized metal emits toxic fumes when heated to a high temperature.
