Hoping to get the ball rolling

I've added few pages and categories. Here's the run down, you can click the link on the left to take you to the categories page, this list all categories though.

The main category for anything relating to Coal will of course be coal located here: http://nepacrossroads.com/kb/Category:Coal

As an example we have a sub category Common Coal Terms, if you click that you can see the two i already added.

If you want to add/edit to what I wrote click the edit button on the top of the page. For example we have a article called "girlie men": http://nepacrossroads.com/kb/girlie_men

If for example you wanted to add your own new term first type the term into the search box at the left and hit the "go" button.

Click the create page if it doesn't exist.

Write you article, then at the bottom add this:

Code: Select all
[[Category:Coal]]
[[Category:Common Coal Terms]]

What this will do is add the term to these categories, your term will now appear under "Pages in category "Coal"" on the coal category page and it will also appear under the subcategory "Common Coal Terms".

----------------------------------------------------------

What you may find is red links, these red links are links that go to pages that have not been created yet. For example as of right now under the page for stoker you'll notice that BTU is in red. You can click the link to take you to that page which has not been created yet, add the information you want, add the categories as described above and save it.

---------------------------------------------------------

These red links are proabably the biggest reason Wiki is su successful. You can add them to you pages as you are going along. If for example you have a phrase ot term you thin should have an article highlight the text then click the third button from the right which will create a link to that article. If the article already exists it will be a regular link, if it doesn't exist it will be red.

--------------------------------------------------------

Please don't be afraid to use this and even break it, someone else can fix it if your screw something up.

------------------------------------------------------

Just remeber the KB login username and password is the same as your forum login, you will have to login separately though.

This would be a great place to collect posts and pictures of piping boilers in series or other configurations.

How to pipe - is a common question.

Excellent idea Sting, this one reason I installed this. The information gets buried in the posts as they get old. What I did was create new article called Plumbing a Stoker found here: http://nepacrossroads.com/kb/Plumbing_a_Stoker

Nothing there yet but if anyone anyone wants to start adding or editing it feel free.

I also added a new category called Tutorials and How To's for other articles that will fit in that category.
