How much smoke pipe to the future chimney...
You have enough vertical for your run to the future chimney...
The basement is about 8'8" so I will have about 7 1/2' vertical from boiler exhaust breech then around 6' of horizontal to the power vent. When I install the chimney it will be 4' away from the power vent location due to the power vent has to be a minimum of 4' from a corner. The chimney will be in that corner I speak of.

Make sure yours is setup for easy cleaning.
I guess it would not be that hard to put a little rise in my run. I could probably get 2' of rise over that 6' span twisting some 90's? I think that would help the cause? I would like to add a couple cleanout TEE's but I am a little apprehensive due to the draft issues I ran into last season. Each TEE is the equivalent of adding 50' of flue pipe vs 14' with each 90. I have to keep my flue run as short as possible to maximize output of this boiler. I cannot pull a strong enough draft with the PV to get maximum output from this boiler so I just set it as best as I can to maintain recommended over fire draft. I feel my boiler performance will increase when I install a chimney?

Where did you get your numbers for Tee's and 90's?

I got these out of Leisure Line's manual for their power vents. Here is a pic of the chart.....I have the 8"

Good point on the impact of a T on draft. You may want to use a couple 45's instead of a 90 if your draft is that marginal.

That's a great idea, I think I will have the room to do it.

FIFTY feet equivalent for a tee in a stovepipe

That would mean each of us with a baro.... ???

So my 4' vertical with about 5' horizontal before reaching my masonary chimney, with Tee at the first elbow for a cleanout and a baro tee above that would be about 827 feet of horizontal and only 30ft of vertical? LOL. :P

Something sounds amiss?

Inches, not feet.

That makes a lot more sense. But what does that really mean? If you add a Tee in a horizontal run, does it now require an extra 1.25" of rise over the run? (Assuming 1/4" rise per foot of run and rounding to 4' per tee)
