I think the ashes come out the front and the hopper is at the rear, will you have enough room to go along the side to load the hopper?

Yeah plenty of room on the side with the water heater.

Great, now you have choices. Hand fed or stoker.

Stoker wins hands down, only downfall is if I lose electric, I lose my heat source,but that's also better for the duct work.

Where do you want the temp taken? On my setup, the air in is pulled from the basement air.

Stokers are nice, minus lose of electric. But $1800 ? I think the 82FA can be purchased for less than $1500 new.

You ever get the Amish man price?

Homesite Insurance, through GEICO charged me a flat $97 a year fee for an 'alternative heating source'....no photos, no inspections, just send the check.
