You guys helped me out getting my stove going when got it a few years ago and its been great since, got a friend who got into coal last year, we want to put a manometer on his so it can be setup right (place that installed it just guessed at setting and it was fine last year) he has gotten low draft signs (water in hopper and co2 in basement) someone here either sold me or directed me to the threaded part I installed in my stove pipe, trying to find that part again.

I use extra copper tubing from a refrigerator water line kit and used a threaded flare fitting like this...

I just used a section of flexible brake line (the stuff you can bend with your hands without kinking), drilled a hole in the pipe, inserted the tubing.

Use the right size bit and it's quite snug, yet removable when needed ;)

I like both of these ideas. I need to make a more permanent installation for my manometer. Right now it takes the measurement from the open hole in the type M draft control.

I don't recommend a permanent install with a manometer as they should be calibrated every time it is used.
