Thank you for posting the photos! Are the grates set up for wood or coal? Photos of the firebox interior would tell us that right away.

Yes, thank you RC.

Good looking range. The enamel is in surprisingly good shape. It's a shame that so many others of that style are badly discolored and chipped.

And a cabinet base, too. Nice to have that space under the oven as extra storage. And it saves having to chaise any coal chunks under there. Whenever I drop them, somehow they always manage to roll under the range. :oops:

I do not have it set up now. Remodeled house few years ago and I don't have a chimney flue for it. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. I will snap a picture of fire box but I know I've burned wood and coal in it. I would start with wood and then add coal. I inherited the stove from my parents when I bought their house. Been in our family for probably 40 years or so. My dad used it all the time but he passed a few years back but my Mom still with us at 104.

i've decided I will probably sell my stove if anyone might be interested let me know.

I am in Auburn NY about 20 miles from Geneva where the Andes were manufactured
