Ok, so a few weeks ago my good friend Tony purchased this pristine #8 from Skip. Today I helped him installing it in his log cabin home. He's the guy that I split the TT load of LA with. Hopefully we'll get it lit off in the next day or so. We have just cemented it together so that's got to set. Anyway he'll be along in the next couple of days to introduce himself. He's a recovering wood burner and has seen the light

AWESOME, both stove and setting. what a cool idea, a stone alcove open on 2 sides, fantastic heat sink and counter point.

Yes it's beautiful. Too bad there was not another flue there he could have done back to back 8's

Wow !!! What a focal point! That's the coolest set up I've seen. Nice job skip ! And install Scott and tony. Can't wait for tony to give us some reports.

Is that the location it will operate in Scott? Or just where you assembled it? If so, talk about a unique setting. Wilson did another fantastic resto. Great job, and congrats to Scott for converting another.

Flue might be big enough to run two stoves.

I'm not quite sure if I'm understanding you Fred, but I think Tony's wife is gonna put some plants on the other side in the front room because it faces due south. I hope it's a tropical pant
