Hey FF, maybe its one of those threads that we each continue the story with a one line addition!

Here is my contribution....

It's so windy I parked the truck by the pole barn so I could carry two buckets of coal into the house to weigh me down so I didn't blow into DE.

The winds died down after the front moved by. We were getting gust up to 40 MPH last night. At one point I was watching the stove it was really wanting to pull the fire up the flue.

In my set up I have a barometric damper which helps even out the effect of those gusts. Some use a manual damper instead....some use both - if both are used make sure the baro is after the manual damper as the exhaust heads to the chimney.

forgot to add.....
...be breathing all on its own as it reached for my precious coal filled bucket...... :P

Bubba headed out looking for the appropriate licensing Department. He, like a law abiding citizen, called the White House knowing they had the information for which he sought. They put him on hold & within moments, several black SUV's & a number of helicopters converged on his location. Bubba was quite pleased with the quick response. He heard knocking on his door & felt his problem was solved. Upon opening the door, men in full riot gear charged in, threw poor Bubba
