I have a Hyfire II. This year, the left coal feeder keeps feeding coal while the right acts 'normal'. The big blower fans are at full speed and don't stop. This never happened before. In past seasons, both feeders fed normally and the blowers went on when needed. Everything is connected correctly. What is the problem?
Thank you

Both feeders should be feeding the same.
Did you just plug it and start using it? whats the FEED RATE (FR)? if it's says 99 then both stokers should run a lot and the blowers will be running full. If so, turn your setpoint down below room temp. IT takes time to react, it might take a few hours for it to stabilize again and get back on track.
Almost sounds like you have something wired wrong, check the cabling, check the Thermostat cable too, unplug and plug everything back in. something might be loose or dirty. Have you powered it down, unplug the control box, and replug everything back in, I know you;ll have reset date and time.

I'll start all over again and bring the setpoint below room temp. I'll check all the cabling.
Thank you!

The right burner is normal but left is not. I haven't checked everything yet but I will.

Left an right feeders share the same output. Make sure your fan dampers are open the same. Make sure both feed motors ( RED WIRE TIE) are plugged into the same Y cord.bernincoal wrote:The right burner is normal but left is not. I haven't checked everything yet but I will.
