Is that hand crank lift still attached to the early truck??? with solid rubber wheels, and a top speed of 20-25 mph??

Actually I never saw it personally except in pictures on newer truck from the 70's, I'll have to dig around and see if I can find one. I don't think it was ever used by anyone in my family. They used to put it on the pickup truck for parades in Plymouth. He still has it, not sure what kind of shape its in. Knowing them its nothing but rusted out frame...

Hello Everyone:

Anyone have a recommendation for quality coal delivered to Carbondale?

Any help appreciated. This will be my first winter as a coal burner. Goodbye gas bills!

260.00 delivered for bagged is not a bad price. You can get it from Kimmel for 190.00 but you'll have to buy a truckload pay for shipping and have a forklift ready for unloading your coal.

With such a large quantity to buy and so many miles to transport it,, I won't buy 'mystery coal'.. I only buy known good consitant high quality coal..

I've tried Reading, Jeddo, Lauflin, Hegins, Summit, Superior, UAE, Blaschak... The best quality and consistant quality is Superior and UAE.. They get my money now.

Roger at Superior said no rice now or EVER by the tractor trailer load. Signed up for a load of Summit, hope it's ok

I live near the NY/PA border, wish I had a reason to drive through PA, I'd buy coal on the way. Since I don't travel that way at all I just get it bagged/delivered locally. Oh, and if you don't have a boiler already ordered, I don't think you'll be getting one by this Winter. Maybe half way through if you're lucky.
