i hate winter, snow ice cold... just hate it. even as a kid, I hated it. the only thing that keeps me sane is my chubby stove. seriously folks. that warm heat that last all day and night. the crackling of the coals catching fire.. love it. the whole start up and tending process, love it. I take care of it, and it takes care of me. dang gone it, its 4 degrees outside. hate it.. just hate it.. I have tons of coal and hardwood and pellets. showed my twin teenagers how to start and maintain stove. ahh I feel better venting. thanks everyone,

We enjoy ours, our Wood burning friends are always surprised about the consistency and long burn times of coal. And I always mention the Chubby is a local product Massachusetts made.
Right now it's 9 degrees outside. It's about 80 in my 1800sqft Ranch and the Chubby is handling it nicely with the damper open about half way. The blower is moving the heat around nicely.
