Excellent. That means you'll save even more cash, than what we have to pay up here.

YES

I added the manuals above in my earlier post...the "CFI Insert" weighs 650#'s and holds 85#'s of nut/pea coal.

The "Banking Plate" is an very important functional piece of these, if it is missing the value would drop drastically.

Looking for any information on my Russo Fireplace insert possibly an owners manual. Was in the house I purchased just wanted some info on it if possible
Cant find anything close to this model online and cant really get to back of the stove to get model number off plate. Has S/S Chimney liner hooked up to it been burning wood but want to start using coal because its easier to obtain than cords of wood and less work storing it.

Any help would be appreciated and a manual would be a "Home Run" Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. While I can't help you with a manual, if you type 'Russo' into the search box at the top right of the page, you will gets lots of info as that search is specific to this site.

Hello B,
I see the Russo manufactures website, and that they're out of Randolph Mass. They show fireplace inserts, but not particularly your model. It doesn't look like the ones offered are for coal. Not sure about yours or your grating system. I'll bet you could call the company and get some more info. it appears yours has some blowers on it, and bet it'll really throw some heat. I hope for your sake, it'll handle coal, cause you'll like the performance of coal too. Good luck, and keep us posted. Always good to have more members. :)

Stove has grates and a shaker handle on the right side of the stove it's definitely a coal burner.
I will check out Russo's website. It has a blower but it was seized I just purchased a replacement blower for it with a variable speed switch. Should throw some serious heat. Thanks.
