That's a lot of flame for 10 pounds of coal !!!!!! :shock:

I didn't see if it says what type of coal, just size. But, I've never seen a secondary burn like that from just anthracite. Maybe they still have a lot of wood burning up in there ?

The solid orange flame indicates Bituminous or wood or both.

Maybe they got coal From Stardust Coal in Smithfield, Pa. ;)

In the audio i hear them saying it is really oily. Wouldn't that kind of describe bit? They also say it's the size of baseballs and hockey pucks.

The designers are makers of wood stoves so i suspect they are aiming at making a stove that burns bit. If this stove pans out this may be my first "new" stove purchase. Depending on btu output that is. I need at least 100,000 btu minimum as i have no insulation.
