Considering your laundry and shower schedule, a 5 gallon pail would probably be adequate. :D
Or run it right to the veg patch

Between the 5 gal pail and being on top of a hill so it all runs away from the house real easy.....you can get a lot of years from a wooden drywell that way! toothy

We're not even uptown enough for a wooden drywell....Our laundry runs to a surface drain.

Well, the huge ice storm passed us by - again. Gosh, it's happened so many times this year that I'm afraid people will start to think the forecasters are crying wolf and ignore the one that is really going to slam us good. That's always a scary thought.

Friday evening DK and I left town before the storm was supposed to get here. We headed down to Williamsburg for our granddaughter's first birthday party on Saturday. It was a nice gathering of family and friends.

Then we came home and that was the extent of our exciting weekend. Next weekend may be really exciting due to the inauguration on Friday. The schools are out and so are most of the Federal workers. We are asked to stay off the roads which we intend to do. If we do go out anywhere it won't be to DC. Who knows what's going to happen there. We do live in interesting times.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, God bless, Lisa
