Draft Settings

is there an idea setting on the mano for draft?i did fine for 2 weeks when it was cold,but now we have 50 during the day high 40's at night. overcast,foggie,light rain for a week. today took out 2 blade chimney fan&replaced with tjernlund paddle type fan,varitable speed.on high I can get.12 or better.need the fan to start fresh with wood fire then nut.

A good draft setting is anywhere between -.03 and -.05. I used to have one of those paddle wheel draft inducers. Which model are you using? The AD-1?

You should only need to use it while lighting new fires in a cold chimney OR to maintain draft on warm days. The motor seems to get really hot when running for long periods.bambooboy wrote:yes AD-1. craigslist bargain
