Keystoker Coal/ Oil Boiler Combo

i am looking for "install" pictures of a working keystoker combo coal/oil boiler system with hot water coil for hot water,have a new dealer in the area but no working system to look at,,, looking to replace a current burnham rs 109 oil boilers with tankless hot water system,, system is 15 years old and last couple of year the stack temp is getting higher each year( 450 to 500 clean and adjusted) looking to do coal primary - oil back up.. any info would be great!!!!

That's the problem with cast iron. It's greatest efficiency is when it's new. After the first and subsequent firings, the pores fill with soot and it's never as efficient again. You can clean the passageways, but not the pores.

You're a little high on the stack temp, but 350 is considered good for an unlined chimney.

it's a single pass /steel boiler, I am sure the "inside", water area, of the heat exchanger is getting corroded,, no matter how well it's clean /adjusted its always on the high side
