excellent anti skid espacialy on iced streets, I have usely a bucket in the car with me for as if.
A few years ago I good help some truck drivers to get over the bridge.
It's common here to have sand, mixed with salt, on the bridges, but the coal ash was way better.

I much prefer the ashes from my EFM520 stoker boiler as they are more crunchy,vs the ashes from my Crane 404 are more powdery,both are free anti-skid & both work.

gotta laugh, this year the boiler isn't keeping up with ash demand for driveway!
