I purchased a home a few years ago the had an HS tarm boiler model 303 with a coal automatic feed system attached. I have not been able to get any manuals on the feed system and tarm said they never produced one with an automatic system. The manual I purchased from tarm for this boiler has a reference to an HS 20 automatic stoker on page 2. Tarm again said they never seen it and would no longer be supported with parts or manuals anyway.

Is anyone familiar with this setup? I would need info on setup of system. I pressurized the boiler - no leaks- and the controls all seem to work properly. Any info on feed rate adjustment, air flow settings, coal type and size compatability would be appreciated.

Can you post some pictures? Some people by aftermarket augers and make their own auto feed syatem. Maybe this is one?

HS Tarm makes good stuff.. I too would like to see photos of the automatic coal feed system,, a stoker... I'm betting it is a standard stoker from another manufacturer, adapted to use in the Tarm boiler..

I'm sure we can get you going.. you may have to take a few pieces off and show more photos,, but there is a wealth of knowledge here on the forum.. we'll get you burning coal !!

Looking forward to the photos..
