Agreed! This has been a very enlightening post. Sometimes I wish there were 'sticky' posts on this forum.
There are!

Thanks for the information guys I feel better about the keystoker I don't have the furnace I only have the furnace I only have the burner so I am going to put the burner in a Jensen 30A that I made some modifications to. I also have to build my own hopper I have been doing some research does the hopper need to be air tight? I see some people have the tops off and feed the coal into the hopper with a shopvac system and others with augers I didn't know if they sealed the top when they are done becaus they don't mention it. I really wondered if the hopper has to ha air tight to the stoker I don't see any cement on that part of the stoker or any mounting holes. I know this probably isn't the right place to ask but since im trying to prevent hopper fires and you guys have such good advise I figured I would through some questions out. FYI I rebuilt my gearbox for around twenty dollars keystoker wanted 80 just for the bearings the shafts and seals I would have been around 200.00 and the rebuilt ones they sell are 290.00 I will plac some pictures just to show you it can be done I am planning a whole page on how I did it and where I got the parts.
