Actually not a bad remake and Im just glad it wasnt a link to a Pat boone version... if you know the story there of all of Pats song remakes. Chuck Berry was supposed to play at the annual Buddy Holly death anniversary concert in Clear Lake Iowa just a few years ago. Its a huge event and Buddy's widow and Richie Valens sisters often show up, people from all over the world. I was trying to find a ticket to go see Chuck as they sold out quick. A month or so before the show Chuck had health problems and they replaced him with Pat Boone
I was glad I didnt find a ticket.
Chuck was still doing shows at least a couple years ago near his home, maybe even since then. Now thats someone that loves music! One of the very early pioneers of Rock that left behind a true legacy of music. I always had some of his music on my Ipod at work that I hooked to a radio. Everyone liked his songs, even the young people that didnt know who he was. The early rock, to me, was faster paced. Maybe not as loud but often it was fast, and darned good!
