There have been a few occasions when power has been lost and I'm not home. With a hand-fired boiler filled with a few shovels of coal, this can have bad effects when the boiler blows off, as has happened.
I've looked through the posts about inverters but I can't find one that addresses my issue. I only need to run ONE Taco 007 to a heat dump until the fire goes out or I come home and can can shovel the live coal out, which could be 8 hours. I also burn wood in the summer which really heats the water fast but the fire only burns for 30 minutes. It wouldn't be the first time that a thunderstorm knocked out the power just after I started the wood.
Looking for a simple plan for car batteries and inverter setup and I guess it uses a coil to kick out when the power goes out.
Thanks for any ideas or any proven working solution.
