That auger bushing is trashed for only 1.5 seasons of use. Mine was not nearly that worn after 5 years of use.

That auger bushing got that way in about 2 months. The auger I took out had no bushing left at all! Just a small ring

I think Scott is right, you have an alignment problem with the auger.

You need to pull the stoker. Look at the pot bushing It will be trashed.

See how the auger wants to come out the bottom of the cover? He will be lucky if the casting isn't worn oblong.

Do you think that spacer on there could have caused that wear?
So if pot bushing is worn or oblong, does that mean a new pot?

Yes, spacer could have caused wear. Take it apart and let's see what is wrong with it.

Ok stage two of disassembly.
I measured the pot on the inside fo the fire chamber to check center as Mike suggested. It is truly out of center, by a more than 1". Due to spacer I would assume.
As you can see in the pictures the pot bushing does appear to be oblong as Scott mentioned it probably would.
We may have located the source of extra drag on auger. If there was already some pressure on auger from being on a bind, then any additional problem, that might normaly not be enough to break a pin, could put it over the top.
So now I can not get the pot off the stoker shaft, set screws have sheared off, will try to drill them out.

This is a picture of the bottom of the stand, where the stoker plate bolts on. As you can see, it is broken. As I recall it was this way when I bought it. Is this going to be a proble,
m?
The metal plate that the stoker attaches to and goes over the hole in th stand has been welded across top, right above the pipe.
When I bought it the opt, stoker, plate and spacer were all assembled and would not come apart, so I had to line the enitre thing up as one unit when assembling it, the same today in disassembly
