With all the change going on at 'Da Board,I decided to stop in and take Shelter right here in the Friendly Confines of Good 'Ol Freddy's Coffee House........
So far,so good, with no signs of demolition, construction nor renovation. Heck, even the Woolrich Sock We use as a Coffee Filter remains. It's been carefully folded after washing and drying,at the ready for 'Ol FFred to bop in and make that much hoped for first batch of Freddy's Special Blend !
In the end,sit down, and relax with Friends ! The Mayor and his Mods are engaging in Urban Renewal all over this Little 'Ol Coaltown. Come on in,get out of the mud, muck and dust of it all and grab a cup......
I'm sure that You'll be glad You did !!

Actually, Freddy's Coffee Shop is about twice as big as it was 3 days ago. We are just using rubber hammers so no one knows we're working back here.

Guys/Gals,
It is my belief that 'Freddy's Coffee Shop' is the 'glue' that bonds this forum 365 days/year. It may have a new format, but the same patrons. OK by me, have a good day.
Cheers

<< That is what I think of these new smilies !!! Most look twisted & evil, even the ones that are supposed to be happy ones. Chineese imports !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I guess the idea is for us to use them less & print more words instead .(roll eyes)
Need to change the name from smilies to "faces". (roll eyes, ranting, crying)
Ain't nothing sacred.(very sad,crying)

I'll except the thanks but it's not me that runs this place, it's everyone that stops in for a moment & shares a bit of life. Alright....everyone in a big circle, look to your left & say thanks.....now look to your right & say thanks. OK? OK! We be good to go. Latah!freetown fred wrote:A big thanx to Freddy!

I can't think of a better place or a better band of gypsies...the Mrs. and I returned from Bangor, E.M.M.C. (Eastern Maine Medical Center). She has been fighting breast cancer for 3 yrs and she finally knocked it out of the park and concurred her dream; to be cancer free! Is there such a place? I don't know only God knows, (you may have a different name).
Rhonda underwent a bi- lateral mastectomy, (both breasts removed),Monday a.m. We came home yesterday and she is resting and recovering well. Her doctor told her she needed to be home a.s.a.p. and boy was she right. As wonderful the care and care givers are there, she started healing God speed as soon as we settled in.
I clung to her hospital bed for 2 days and nights and watched bravery in person...she is strong and will rise to face the world and all it has to offer soon...
...pour me some of that brew!
Mike.
