Problem With Primary Zone

My primary zone doesn't seem to be heating properly. The circ pump runs inconsistently. I changed the pump and the issue continued. It runs for a while then stops before the thermostat is satisfied. All other zones run fine. I removed the thermostat and bugged the wires together and the pump didn't run (boiler was at high temp limit). I put the thermostat back in and it ran (pump only). Sometimes it runs with the boiler and sometimes it doesn't. When it runs it really doesn't run long enough to heat the entire zone. It usually isn't an issue because I have a TLC 2000 in that zone but I was going to shut it down and use the EFM. I always thought this zone wasn't heating correctly but like I said really was never an issue. Now I have to fix it because its driving me nuts. I also bled the zone to rule out air lock. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I just move the wires off the pump from a different zone onto the pump on the primary zone and it works correctly. Its gotta be a wiring issue. I'm going to go over the wiring.

If you have the circulator wired to C1/C2 in the triple aquastat, the behavior you described will happen if the boiler temperature drops below the low limit setting. This is intentional.
If you want to prevent this, you can do a few things.
1. Reduce the flow rate of the zone.
2. Increase the feed rate of the stoker.
3. Reduce the low limit setting (assuming you do not use tankless coil).
4. Wire this zone off a separate relay.

So you are running a Argo or similar zone controller for multiple zones?
