If anyone is interested FX network's program "30 Days" is airing a documentary, "Working in a Coal Mine" on 6/3/08 at 10PM. The documentarian spends a month working in a West Virginia coal mine.

Thank for the heads up Just Remember That is Bituminous mining Not Anthracite mining Big differents Between the two ;)

If anybody wants to see a show on mining anthracite Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe did a episode at the RS&W mine in Pottsville. Also the Hard Coal documentary is a excellent movie as well.

every anthracite mine has been shut down by the feds for one reason or another at one point. rs&w is running again.
