Stoker Coal Boiler: Modified AA 130

I let the fire burn out while I spend a few days in Miami. Yep, I really had planned on doing an epic 4 day burn but just couldn't see the logic behind it with 70's in New York while I'm away. I'm kinda disappointed lol. I had it all figured out how I was gonna attempt a 4 day fire, and pulled the plug on it. She finally went out today, this afternoon. Last tending was Saturday afternoon.

We're staying at my step daughter's condo, here's the current view from the balcony.

That explains why it was a few degrees cooler outside today. I figured either you or FF let the fire burn out :D
Enjoy!

With this years crazy weather pattern I have let mine go out several times. We had a couple nights in the mid 30's, then I let it go out Sunday night. Forecast is for the 80's today, lows for the next few days in the 40's, so I'm probably done for the season. I will give it a couple weeks before cleaning it out.

Thanks for the replies fellas! We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony, drinking beers with a little charcoal grill cooking chicken, sausage, hamburgers and hotdogs lol. Today we are currently taking a road trip down thru the Keys. There's 11 of us, we rented a big van. It's been 42 years since I was down here last, I was only 4 years old. I vividly remember the bridges out over the ocean and getting burnt to the point of blisters lol. I'm stoked :D
