Using the same barometer that everyone seems to use for Jimmy Carter. That is High Oil price and Poor Economy Then George Bush is the all time winner for worst President .

( amazing isn't it?.......You mention Carter's name & all you hear is bad economy, failed rescue mission to Iran, etc..........When the same people talk about GW Bush, they say "It's not his fault."......or "He inherited it from B. Clinton" ( that, after 8 years in office & turning a huge surplus into a huge deficit........Maybe it's because he looks good in a flight suit? )

The second rated B actor I think C rated.. with out a doubt led this country to the state it"s in. He should have stayed on Deah Valley days, and died there, the Old timer had him beat by a mile. Only the ones who have the wisdom of old age will know this to be true. Sorry Ls,your man was an actor, too bad he died and didn't know he was dieing. Was he the only president to bring in a star gazer, soo sayer, a dream reader, a person that foresee the future , into the White House to take advice? WHAT A JOKER . you got to be kiding me, this man was,,,,,,,,Fread's dog crap is better any thing this man did for this country.

I did not know that Jimmy Carter excuse me Barack Obama was going to be our next president. oh well I guess we will end up with a liberal democrat as pres. if Obama doesn't get elected

Ronald Reagan was who he meant.....but I wouldn't rate him that poorly when you have criminals like Nixon & GW Bush to choose from.

Ronald Reagan was very much like John Kennedy, both are icons that people want to gravitate to regardless of their shortcomings. I ask people why they like Ronald Reagan and then I ask them to tell me three tangible things he did. Most response that he made me proud to be an American. Look up the definition of tangible, that is perception. Ronald Reagan was likable to most people, I see very little substance. His acting ability did help him be liked.

When he ran for governor of California he had one speech. He was taken aside and trained to response to questions in an almost computer like process. If he was asked a certain kind of question his brain would remember the script he received and respond accordingly.

An even Sam Donaldson said we sat and did nothing for years. All news was chorographic no dialogue. As for Sam Donaldson you either love him or hate him, no debate here, but at least he asks the hard questions, most news people do not.
1) Lets not forget the worst economic time was in the first term of the Reagan.
2) The Military buildup in the 80s was initiated in the Carter Administration

I wish we would had the opportunity to see Robert F. Kennedy as President. Much of what John gets credit for was him.
