Love My New Mouse - MX Master

I have long hands and you know what they say about guys with big hands.... they have big feet. :P

I went shopping for a mouse with two things I needed, it needed to big and it needed a free wheel for scrolling. It has that and much more. Note the price on Logitech's site is $99, you can get it for about $60-70.

I bought a mouse years ago with the free wheel feature and every mouse since has had it, I won't buy one without it. You can just flick the wheel and it will scroll through a page really fast. It takes a little bit of getting used to but once you mastered it you'll never want another mouse without this feature. It can be turned off if you wish and this one has hybrid function where the wheel will act like normal wheel with the clicks and automatically go into free wheel if you move it fast.

This also has another cool feature that is new to me, there is button on the bottom 1,2,3. If you have a receiver/bluetooth for each device you can switch between devices without having to move the receiver.

This also has side scroll wheel located near your thumb, cool but I keep forgetting it's there.

It's also rechargeable from standard USB cord, it only lasts a week but I can live with that. If the batteries die it will operate off the cord while it's charging.

Fits really nice in my hand but I wish it was little bigger, this was biggest one I could find. This is like buyin really big shoes or clothes, hard to find and they get really expensive once you go beyond this size.

There is more stuff than I mentioned. There is two buttons next to the side scroll wheel by your thumb. I always found myself hitting them accidentally on other mouses but that doesn't happen much on this one. There is another button under your thumb you wouldn't even know is there unless you read the documentation. You can use it for "gestures" to simulate how a phone works.

I have been using an MX 518 for at least 10 years. It is a hardwired optical gaming mouse and has some of those features. It has been a tank.

I hate wires, besides the mess it's difficult to keep clean. Power wires to the PC and Screen, HDMI to the screen and ehthenet cable to hook a laptop to transfer files and that's it....

I understand, I was gaming at the time and the consensus was that a wired mouse was faster......like it mattered at all...

My next one will be wireless....

Now that I saw a picture of it I actually have that mouse or one very similar. It's around somewhere... I won a prize for some online store and that was one thing they had that interested me.

HP mouse I'm happy with. I don't like rechargeable products. Put battery slots in them and I'll use rechargeable batteries if I want.

Reg. batteries last about 4 mos. ... so I use reg. batteries in the mouse. 2-AA

I'll be looking at other's recommendations in the thread too.

The HP is under $20 now and has left, rt click and a scroll and is optical .. on/off button on bottom...and wireless. What more ya want from a mouse?

I have not bought from linked seller before .. so use caution as appropriate

Your mouse is refusing to eat ! Have you been pulling up Rose O'Donnell pics again? The mouse is better off.

After seeing a picture Richard all I can think is “does it come with an ironing board?”
