How many pounds of coal the stove holds in the fire pot can give a rough idea of its output. Multiply that amount by the BTU content of the coal per pound. Cut that figure in half because it's best to have half still burning when tending. That also has to be divided by the number of hours you expect it to burn between tendings and last multiply by the assumed efficiency of about .60.
If it holds 20 pounds then probably about 7000 BTU per hour with 8 hour tending times.
Presumably your room is open to other rooms from which it will either gain or lose heat .Further complicating any estimate.
About stove temperature I like to limit to 600 degrees F. tops.
