Searchin craigslist and found this stove. I know just enif anout old stoves to be dangerous. I am assuming its a baseburner?
Any idea on heating capabilities?
Problem areas to look at for cracks?
Areparts available (pretty ure it needs new grate)?

That stove was talked about at great length last year. Yes it can be fixed, but it is going to be costly.
Stove needs new grate,draw slide,barrel,back pipe,check damper,direct/indirect damper,cracks welded.
A member here looked at it and drove back home empty handed. SORRY TOM

If I remember right seller went down to 350, maybe he will take a lot LESS now.

mntbugy is absolutely right...I made the trip and came back empty handed. The stove is trashed. The seller did drop his price a bit, but not worth it in my eyes. Best of luck on your search.
