The only sure thing is with McCain, he will be easily manipulated by his "advisors" (you know, like Bush) . If you actually listen to what he says, you would know things like last Saturday McCain gave three speeches to three different groups and when asked about Social Security, he gave three different opposing answers.

As the McCain spokesman said "John McCain doesn't speak for the John McCain campaign"

Since the Republicans have nothing positive to offer this year, all they can do is attack Obama with slimy tactics. Here's what they do:



McCain challenges Obama to goto Iraq & talk to our commanders on the ground.

If he doesn't go, McCain will accuse him of not knowing the facts on the ground

If he goes, McCain says he's grandstanding & should campaign here in the US



McCain challenges Obama to allow offshore drilling. (something McCain was against until he recently flip/flopped himself)

If Obama doesn't agree, McCain paints him as not wanting to help his fellow citizens with gas prices

If Obama agrees to it, McCain hypocritically accuses him of flip/flopping




This is the crap that got us into this mess in he first place!
These slimy tactics are why the Republicans are going to be run out of Washington this November......CYA!!

A few years ago I ran into one of our dealers at a funeral. He is a hack for the Democratic party. Gas was still $1 and change, close to $2. He told me that Bush's goal was to get the price up to $3. I blew him off at the time, until Katrina blew in. Turns out he was either a good guesser or had some inside information. You decide.

Just heard on the news that voters don't think McCain is Conservative enough. As they were interviewing people, the people were saying they want Romney as the vice. Caught my interest. Don't much care for Romney myself.

It's very true because there are a number of John McCains (the 2000 version,the current one, etc) & they are totally different!
The 2000 version was not conservative enough for most Republicans & prided himself on being "A Maverick."
The current version is trying to pretend that the 2000 version really didn't exist, to the Republican conservative base.

(well, in that case I'll give you that Sen. McCain has 26 years of "Experience" being a fixture in the US Senate. Unfortunately for us all, just like GW Bush's career, he has little to be proud of during those many years, &^ only jumped on the "We need energy independence" band wagon in the last few months to dig for votes.

Considering the "Provable Fact" that John McCain graduated Annapolis 894th out of 898 graduates, like "Dirty Harry" says in the famous bank robbery scene: " You have to ask yourself one question?"....Would you want to have a heart surgeon who graduated 894th out of 898 medical school graduates operate on your son or daughter?
I sure wouldn't!

If the 894th guy has been doing heart surgeries for well over 20 years in respect to the surgeon who just really started??? I'd say hell yeah...give me the experienced guy!! Just don't piss him off when he has his hands around their heart....
