Well I know I'm in the minority here but the 80's was my teen years having said that let the good times roll... Days of the 1 minute guitar solo in EVERY song, long poofy hair, makeup and funny looking clothes.... :D

Scorps---- The Zoo

Motley Crue ---- Wild Side 1987

Guns N' Roses - Paradise City

This short list would not be complete without Twisted Sister

I grew up in the 80's as well, although I was a youngin', and I loved every minute of it. The music still rocks and the movies were instant classics. I took my screen name from one of the best movies to come out of the 80's - "Real Genius".

Love the 80's. :D

I was in my twenties in the 80's and this is my favorite group of all time. I have seen them live 6 times and was fortunate enough to see Bon.

And one with Brian.

Boy Richard you are in trouble!
I just spent all afternoon in the basement listening to AC/DC and drinking large amounts of beer and the wife is not happy with me. :bop:
I told her it was all your fault.

Sorry, but I had to blame someone.

LOL...by request first some AC/DC... Highwayto Hell w/ Bon Scott... but who else?

Hmmmmmmmm cant find any uncanned ZZ Top so Neil Pert from Rush will have to do:

Drum solo or music lover in general... simply the best drum solo ever. :D Note the file is public domain. Turn your bass up for full effect of the machine gun double bass,

My favorite band released a new album yesterday. The wife brought it home for me yesterday (nice wife) AC/DC Black Ice
A couple of songs on it are not the typical driving AC/DC but I kind of like them.
I think this is my favorite song on the cd.

God you guys are young. I grew up to Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Alan Parsons Project, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake and Palmer to name a few. I still listen to that music. The stuff out today gives me a headache.

Sounds like me last weekend, I decided to "break-in" a pair of Kenwood speakers with the Stiff Upper Lip album in the basement. I have only seen AC/DC live once, in Albany, NY in 2000. It was without a doubt the most powerful concernt I have ever been to; my ears rang for days.

Another 80's favorite of mine, The Money Man...
**Broken Link(s) Removed** "I wanna go back" and "Take me home tonight" were pretty big hits in their day.

I used to get that all the time, I'd show up with delivery and they say "I was talking to your boss..."

The best was some lady wanted me to do a lot of extra work that was not my responsibility. So I get home and there is a message on my machine about how rude and inconsiderate the delivery guy was.
