Want to Buy a Keystoker Bay Window 75K.
Any advise or suggested source? I will be installing myself and want to buy a couple years worth of coal to lock in the savings of the new sove Currenttly burning oil in a furnace and a boiler. Yes I considered a whole house boiler, but he wife wants this set up. Looking for any help or suggestions.
No offense friend but is "the wife" going to operate whatever you get?kc4601 wrote:Yes I considered a whole house boiler, but he wife wants this set up.

Edit:
Here are three responses from my daughters (ages: 39,35 & 30) that I emailed copies of this post too:

2. "And you WONDER why you don't have friends...hahahaha"
3. "You need a life!"

HI Nepanewb... finding a used stove is going to be difficult.. with the last season's price of oil and gas,, everyone is going to be looking for alternative heating appliances.. The Bay window model is fairly new.. so not many will be on the market used...
Your best bet would be to keep an eye on your local papers,, the 'items for sale' list here, http://www.craigslist.com and maybe http://papershop.com/ .
You also might want to talk to your local coal appliance dealers,, they often will take back stoves or products as a trade-in on an upgrade or different model.. then offer the used item at a discount....
You will have more luck finding a more common stove that has been around for more years.. but if the 'bay window' model is the only one that meets the approval of the 'boss' then you may have to buy new...
Best of luck,, Greg L
