Thinking about it, where did you earn your combat infantry badge. Got mine in the central highlands of Vietnam, company B 1st Battalion 12 th infantry, also served with B company 1st battalion 6th infantry Americal division, also served attached to 25th, divison a mech unit dont remember the unit. The time with the 25 was the most combat related. Three mounths non stop action, went into Cambouda with that unit. Was the time of my life, but didn't know it , to busy trying to stay alive.

By the time I got out of basic in Jan 73 it was over. Spent my time in 1st Bn 508th abn inf at Ft Bragg, NC.
