Hi folks

regarding summerizing stoves,is there any reason why I couldn't use LPS Cold Galvanize to protect the inside after the baking soda wash. Rust preventative good for 3 years and continuous heat up to 750* .

Thanks

Inside the stove is considerably higher than 750* F, I paint the insides with VHT or duplicolor silver (has aluminum flakes in it). The rust will still come back unless you keep it dry and clean off the fly ash right away when the stove is shut down. The other consideration is that the zinc isn't effective with the mixture of sulfuric and nitric acid that forms with moisture inside the stove.

Best bet, clean it up (wire wheel or sand blast) coat it with the silver, then clean every season right away and cover with LPS 3. :)
